Why We Should Protect Australian Fossils Sites Especially Dinosaur Cove!
We should protect Australian Fossil Sites because the fossils found here give an indication as to what life was like in Australia and throughout the world before humans, scientists and geologists may uncover more unknown or undiscovered species, thus leading to cures and other benefits for man kind, and It gives people the opportunity to work this job.
If we protect Australian Fossil Sites, we can uncover more fossils. The fossils found give us valuable information as to what life was like before humans walked the earth. With just some of the many fossils found at Dinosaur Cove, scientists were able to discover information. The scientists were able to uncover that dinosaurs could survive in sub-freezing temperatures for long stretches of the year, as well as three months of total darkness. This information proves that if you preserve and continue excavations at Dinosaur Cove you will find more information as to what life was like before humans.
Secondly, if excavations continue at Dinosaur Cove and it is preserved then it may result in some discoveries of unknown and undiscovered species. These species may be able help cure disease or benefit human kind in other ways. For example, the excavations at Dinosaur Cove have already discovered many new species of dinosaurs including the skull of the Leaellynasaura dinosaur. This gave us valuable information (as explained above) and if the excavations continue at Dinosaur Cove and all of the other Australian Fossil Sites we can continue to discover new species.
Finally, another reason to preserve fossil sites and continue excavating at them is that it employs people and gives scientists and geologists a work opportunity. This allows for people to gain more money and support themselves and their families better. This is very important and excavating a site not only requires archaeologists but it also requires physical labor people to smash unneeded rock and other physical jobs.
Although these reasons are important for our society there are some minimal disadvantages to preserving and protecting the Australian Fossil Sites, as preserving the fossil sites cost lots of money, they consume plentiful amounts of time and they take up lots of space. These reasons disadvantage Australia's society and are a strong convincing reasons as to why Australian Fossil Sites including Dinosaur Cove should not be preserved

Out way the disadvantages.
This is why we should support Australian Fossil sites especially Dinosaur Cove! For History, for the future and for employment.
